We’re looking for a skilled Hull Laminator who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and hands-on work. If you know fiberglass, resin systems, and composite construction — and you care about quality — we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a critical role in constructing and reinforcing boat hulls to exact engineering standards by:

  • Laying up fiberglass mat, woven glass, and core materials with precision

  • Mixing and applying polyester or vinyl ester resins

  • Performing hand lay-up lamination processes

  • Rolling out air pockets and ensuring complete resin saturation

  • Preparing bonding surfaces through sanding and prep work

  • Applying radius putty for proper fiberglass adhesion

  • Inspecting finished laminates to ensure top-tier quality

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and lamination schedules

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Following all PPE and safety procedures

What You Bring

  • 1+ years of fiberglass lamination or composite manufacturing experience

  • Knowledge of hull construction techniques and marine materials

  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions

  • Experience using grinders, rollers, hand tools, and spray equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

  • A commitment to safety and teamwork

Bonus Points For

  • Marine or boat manufacturing experience

  • OSHA safety training

  • Forklift certification

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs

  • Stand for extended periods

  • Work comfortably in environments with resin odors while wearing protective equipment
