Position Summary
Sea Fox Boat Company is seeking a dependable and skilled Fiberglass Mold Builder to support the construction, repair, and maintenance of molds used in boat manufacturing. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality production standards and ensuring molds are kept in optimal condition for efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair fiberglass molds for hulls, decks, and various boat components

  • Perform routine mold maintenance, including sanding, polishing, waxing, and surface preparation

  • Apply fiberglass, gelcoat, and resin in accordance with company standards

  • Inspect molds for wear, damage, or defects and complete necessary repairs

  • Collaborate with lamination and production teams to address mold-related issues

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience with fiberglass, composites, or mold building preferred

  • Proficiency with shop tools such as grinders, sanders, and other hand tools

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more

  • Reliable and capable of working independently when required

  • Experience in marine or boat manufacturing is a plus
