Interior Installer – Sea Fox Boat Works

Position Summary
The Interior Installer plays a key role in bringing our boats to life. You’ll install high-quality interior components — from seating and cabinetry to flooring and trim — ensuring each vessel meets our exacting standards for appearance, durability, and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Install a wide range of interior components: seating, cushions, cabinetry, trim, flooring, and upholstery

  • Align, fit, and secure parts using fasteners, adhesives, and sealants

  • Ensure installations meet Sea Fox’s quality and durability standards

  • Read and interpret blueprints, layout diagrams, and work instructions

  • Measure, cut, and fit materials such as composites, vinyl, and marine fabrics

  • Coordinate with electrical and plumbing teams to ensure proper routing and clearances

  • Inspect materials and surfaces prior to installation; make adjustments for a perfect fit

  • Report defects or material issues to supervisors

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or marine carpentry training a plus)

  • Experience in boat or marine interior installation is a plus, but not required

  • Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely

  • Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn new skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces

  • Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills

Work Environment

  • Boat manufacturing facility — fast-paced and hands-on

  • Standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting required daily

  • Not climate controlled

  • Occasional overtime or weekend hours based on production needs
