In this role, you’ll operate CNC cutting machines used to produce vinyl cushions, plastic components, and canvas materials for our upholstery shop while supporting production across 12 boat models.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule and nest work orders across multiple boat models
  • Optimize material usage to reduce waste
  • Maintain inventory of stock parts
  • Design and develop components using AutoCAD
  • Operate and maintain two CNC cutting machines:
    • Vinyl cutting system
    • Plastic substrate cutting system
  • Troubleshoot machine and programming issues
  • Perform preventative machine maintenance
  • Assist with plastic substrate preparation, routing, and gasket application
  • Support other production areas as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • CNC machine operating experience required
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Basic database knowledge
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and organized
  • Positive attitude and team-player mindset
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Eastman CNC cutters and/or AXYZ CNC machines
  • Experience cutting vinyl, canvas, or plastic materials
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience

Education & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical certifications or CNC training are a plus
